Dr. Nault graduated in kinesiology before underdoing her training in orthopedic surgery. Throughout her medical training, she pursued parallel research training towards a PhD degree. Her major topic of interest in pediatric orthopedics is sports medicine. In 2012-2013, she completed a fellowship at Harvard University in pediatric sports medicine where she familiarized herself with advanced and ultra-specialized care and treatment in this area. Her research program is aligned with her clinical interest in sports medicine. Her main project focuses on ankle ligament injuries. She also conducts projects on tears of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) of the knee and on the validation of questionnaires. She currently works on the development of a pediatric sports medicine center which will integrate treatment, research, prevention and training and will become a reference in Quebec.
