    • Adjunct Professor, Department of Pediatrics and Department of Pharmacology, Université de Montréal, 2020

    Education

    • Ph.D. in Clinical Pharmacology, Université de Montréal (expected completion Fall 2021)
    • Fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, 2020
    • Fellowship in Advanced Cardiac Critical Care, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, 2019

    • Doctor of Medicine (MD), Université Laval, 2011

    Research Interests

Dr. Thibault’s research activity strives to personalize medications’ dosages in critically ill children. Using pharmacokinetic modeling and simulation methods, her projects lead to improve medications’ efficacy while better characterizing and limiting their toxicity. Her work is particularly important as critical illness alters medications’ pharmacokinetics, and optimized therapies are primordial in this vulnerable population.

    Research Topics

    • Pharmacokinetics
    • Pharmacology
    • Modeling
    • Pediatric critical care
    • Cardiac critical care
    • Analgesia, sedation and delirium

    Career Summary

Dr. Celine Thibault is an Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics working as a pediatric intensivist at CHU Sainte-Justine. After graduating from the University Laval Medical School, Dr. Thibault completed her Pediatrics Residency and Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Montreal, Canada. She is board-certified in both pediatrics and pediatric critical care in Canada. She then completed an advanced Fellowship in Cardiac Critical Care and advanced training in pharmacology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
