    Research Interests

    • Natural and mucosal immune responses in HIV and human herpesviruses infections with emphasis on natural killer cells, dendritic cells, cytokines and platelets.
    • Development of animal models for the study of herpesvirus-induced human malignancies, especially in children.

    Career Summary

    I obtained my DVM and MSC (Hons.) from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (Pakistan) and PhD from Cornell University (Ithaca, NY, USA). I am a CIHR research scholar and hold CIHR funded research grants for studying immunobiology of HIV and human herpes virus infections.
