    Research Interests

    During my scientific career, I have acquired a combination of technical competences and scientific knowledge applied to different biological and physiological processes, mainly immunologic, molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in inflammatory process, as well as the study of pathologies affecting innate immunity responses at the initial events of infection and/or inflammation.

    At the present, my researcher area has became clinical, essentially for the development of new approaches for diagnosis of immune defects and anomalies on host-pathogen crosstalk in children, for the study of mechanisms involved in dysfunctions of immune responses in children, and for the analysis of the immune reconstitution after treatment and/or hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
