Researcher Helen Trottier's current epidemiologic research focuses on the field on infectious disease, especially on the dynamics of childhood infectious diseases, vaccine preventable diseases, and infectious diseases that cause cancer such as human papillomavirus (HPV), Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and other Human Herpes viruses (HHV). Her interest focus on the perinatal transmission of virus, pregnancy outcome associated with viral infection and transmission of infection through blood products. Helen Trottier holds several research grants and salary awards from CIHR and FRQ-S.
