    Research Interests

    • Molecular cytogenetics of chromosomal anomalies in genetic diseases: characterization of the complex rearrangements of the Y chromosome in humans.
    • Study of the maintenance of the integrity of chromosomal extremities: role of telomeres in structural chromosomal anomalies.
    • Evaluation in humans of the cytogenotoxic risks of products or metals that may be carcinogenic and liable to be encountered in occupational, clinical and environmental settings: an analysis of simple ruptures and DNA ruptures by terminal marking in situ using electron microscopy (EM-ISEL) in the chromosomal and nuclear chromatin.
    • Study of the upper levels of the ultrastructural organization of normal and pathological chromatin in the metaphase chromosome and in the interphase nucleus by fluorescence in situ hybridization and electron microscopy.
