My research themes focus on evaluating the functional level and impact of physical exercise on children with motor disabilities. Over the course of my postdoctorate I have developed expertise in developing training programs for children and adolescents with motor disorders. My work has allowed me to evaluate the impact of aquatic training on the functional level of children with cerebral palsy. I am now developing a research axis aimed at evaluating active video games (wii, Kinect) in various motor-function rehabilitation processes in the same population.
I am also the Director of the Gait Analysis Laboratory at the Marie-Enfant Rehabilitation Center, Sainte-Justine UHC, where I am implementing a systematic assessment plan for children with gait disorders.
