Identification of Progression Factors in Patients with Idiopathic Scoliosis
The main objective of this study is to characterize the global risk of progression based on local three-dimensional spinal and pelvic measurements present early in the course of the disease. This prospective study evaluates local 3D measurements of the scoliotic deformity using 3D reconstructions of the spine from 225 patients with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis and correlates this information with the regional parameters (Cobb angle, maximal Cobb angle) of their scoliotic curves.
