The Fonds de recherche du Québec awards 29 scholarships to students of the Sainte-Justine University Hospital Research Center for the 2014-2015 competition

Montreal, July 6, 2014 - Twenty-nine students at Sainte-Justine University Hospital Research Center were awarded a scholarship from the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRSQ) and the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture (FRQSC) for the 2014-2015 competition. More specifically, eight masters’ students, eighteen doctoral students and three postdoctoral students obtained a scholarship. This success highlights the excellence of the Research Center and the students it trains with the aim of advancing mother and child health research.

Awardees are as follows. All scholarships were awarded by the FRQS, unless otherwise stated.

Masters’ students

The FRQS is a provincial financing agency which mandate is to implement government strategy with respect to human health research. The FRQSC is dedicated to the development of research and innovation in Quebec with respect to humanities. To fulfill their respective missions, they provide financial support for the training of performing research students.
