Discover the Night Lab – Forest of Mysteries

MONTRÉAL, February 14, 2018 – The CHU Sainte-Justine’s Research Centre invites you over on March 2nd, from 4:00-10:00 pm, in the context of “Nuit blanche à Montréal,” presented in collaboration with Casino de Montréal and organized by MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE. Come and explore the Night Lab – Forest of Mysteries with Scientix, the Owl. A must-attend activity that will satisfy inquisitive minds, explorers and learners of all ages – and it’s free!

Little Night Owls, This Night Promises Many Innovative Discoveries

You are invited to explore the Research Center as never seen before! In the unique atmosphere of the Night Lab uncover the secrets of the Forest of Mysteries. This night promises many innovative discoveries and surprising experiences: from interactive games, instruments exhibits, and a scientific photography contest as well as video stations to observing research teams working in the lab and chatting with experts in mother-child health.

Healing Hearts one Cell at a Time, a Dream Soon Reality

Immerse yourself in the world of cardiovascular genetics with Dr.Gregor Andelfinger’s Lab. By studying the genetics of congenital heart disease, this research team is trying to better understand the normal and abnormal development of the heart at the molecular level and to develop new innovative treatments for children and adults with congenital heart diseases. Are you interested in observing a thin section of the heart tissue under a microscope?

And much more! Become a researcher for a night by manipulating lab tools, trying to outsmart our emotion reader, examining banana DNA, measuring the electrical activity of your brain, and taking part in many more exciting and educational activities.
