The IMAGINE Center at CHU Sainte-Justine is a pediatric neuroimaging research facility dedicated to understanding child brain development and the factors that promote child brain health. It offers brain imaging facilities to researchers affiliated with the Université de Montréal, as well as research institutions in Greater Montreal, Quebec, other Canadian provinces, and international entities. It also serves private companies in Quebec, Canada, and abroad who wish to conduct novel research on new diagnostics and treatments in the field of pediatric brain health.
A cutting-edge infrastructure is available to collect multimodal brain measurements with children. Three highly integrated brain data acquisition systems are supported by four research and innovation platforms.
Our team comprises experts in bioengineering, brain imaging, neuroscience and mental health, bioinformatics, functional genomics, epidemiology, as well as experimental and clinical health research, and clinical practice.
The Centre is organized to facilitate the implementation of research protocols involving high resolution brain measurements with children as they interact with validated psychological tests, including testing paradigms that evaluate the child in interaction with their physical and psychosocial environment. The Centre offers services from early stages, to multimodal data acquisition, processing pipelines and storage solutions.
We welcome children and their families to participate in studies exploring the nervous system and its development in a unique and child-friendly environment.
