Types of presentation

Oral presentations

Only one student per laboratory may apply for an oral presentation. It is the responsibility of the research supervisor to decide whom, amongst his or her students, may apply for this type of presentation. A selection panel will be formed to allocate time slots intended for oral presentations. Selection will be based on the quality of abstract contents and presentation. Students not selected for an oral presentation will be given the opportunity to show their research work by poster presentation. Students who have previously presented an oral presentation at the same congress last year are not eligible for an oral presentation this year.

The 8-minute oral presentations will be followed by a 2-minute question period.

Posters

The maximum poster dimensions are 1 m (width) by 1.50 m (height). Students will have 5 minutes to present their poster to the jury, followed by a 3-minute question period.

Abstract

The project abstract must be written in French or English and not exceed 2 000 characters (including spaces).

Particular attention should be paid to the quality of language. No abstract will be revised nor edited before they are printed in the scientific program.

It is the responsibility of the student to make sure the entire text fits in the registration form and that there are no spelling or grammatical errors.
