Pomodoro Writing Sessions

The pomodoro writing sessions are a time-management technique that increases productivity, eliminates wasted time and avoids distractions by committing to writing for a set time slot (4 hours), setting specific writing goals and segmenting the writing session into four work periods (50 minutes) followed by break periods (10 minutes).

Learn more about the pomodoro technique.

The dates and locations of the sessions will be confirmed by email at the beginning of each month.

No registration required. The seats are limited. First come, first served.

How does it work?

These are writing sessions where each person works on their own project . This is not a training, but a working session. You must bring your own laptop.

You will have to commit to a 4-hour writing session. The session will be divided into 4 writing blocks of 50 minutes each, followed by a 10-minute break. The schedule will be indicated on the wall in the room and you will all be responsible for moderating the time.

Before the session, it is important to prepare your work plan in order to know exactly what your writing objectives are for these 4 hours. For help with drafting planning, you can use the SMART objectives (Specific, Measurable, Audience-specific, Realistic, Time-Bound). For more information.
