    Research Interests

Lucie Ménard’s research goal is the conduct experimental studies of speech produced and perceived by clinical and non-clinical populations. She has a double expertise in Theoretical and Experimental Linguistics and in Voice Technologies. Through unique research infrastructure funded by the CFI, motion tracking systems and acoustic analysis systems were developed and adapted to various populations. The main research program focuses on multimodal speech (acoustics/visual). She has been involved in more than 15 research projects (as the principal investigator or co-investigator) funded by the CFI, SSHRC, NSERC, FQRSC and FQRNT over the last ten years.
