Career Summary

Dr. Frappier is a pediatrician specialized in Adolescent Medicine. He is the Head of the Adolescent Medicine and of the Social Pediatric divisions of Montreal CHU Sainte-Justine and professor of Paediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, Université de Montréal. He is also President of the Canadian Paediatric Society (2011-12), as well as of the Montreal Assault Prevention Centre, and secretary-treasurer of the International Association for Adolescent Health. His extensive research focuses on sexuality, sexual agression, sexually transmitted infections and HIV among marginalized youth. Dr. Frappier is also interested in eating disorders and physical and mental health among adolescents.
