The Office of Academic Affairs (OAA) is the main point of contact for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and researchers at the Research Centre. Working closely with the Academic Affairs Committee (AAC), the OAA implements strategic directives and ensures personalized and effective support for the academic community.
Mandates and Responsibilities
The OAA plays a key role in managing academic affairs by providing:
- Administrative support: Assistance with registration processes, management of academic files, and coordination of agreements between students, fellows, and supervisors.
- Support for internship and scholarship programs: Information on available opportunities, guidance in preparing applications, and management of internal competitions.
- Organization of key activities: Collaboration in setting up events that promote integration, professional development, and the visibility of community members.
- Active and confidential listening: Guidance for students and fellows towards appropriate resources for any questions related to their studies, internships, or work environment.
- Prevention of harassment and conflict management: In cases of conflict or issues, the OAA acts as a point of contact to listen, support, and direct the student community to appropriate services. We work with a spirit of care to ensure a respectful and inclusive research environment.
